Job Description

·       Source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase materials from local (mainly)

·       Go and check the product quality on site based on the technical specifications for emergency purchase

·       Check if the vendors’ quotations are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the item/service and prepare commercial comparison for user and management’s evaluation purpose

·       Handle daily operational purchasing needs such as preparing, issuing, recording, and following up on Purchase Orders for both payment status and delivery status

·       Coordinate with related departments in order to streamline the process

·       Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors

·       Assist in evaluation of supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation

·       Report to Manager and other senior team members as necessary

·       Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
