Job Description

·       Develop and optimize feed formulations that meet specified nutritional standards for various animal types and production requirements.

·       Evaluate ingredient options based on nutritional value, availability, and cost to produce high quality, cost-effective feed formulas.

·       Monitor market trends and ingredient availability to adjust formulations as necessary.

·       Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure that feed formulations align with available ingredients and production capabilities.

·       Ensure that all formulations comply with quality and safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

·       Test and adjust formulations to improve feed quality, animal health, and production efficiency.

·       Maintain detailed records of formulations, ingredient usage, and production outcomes.

·       Provide technical support and training to production staff on mixing and handling formulas.

·       Continuously research new ingredients, technologies, and practices to improve feed formulations and optimize costs.
