Job Description

• To check and instruct daily site expenses, usage of Manpower/Material/Machinery/Tools.
• To check and confirm that all required drawings/material are prepared well before the work start and mobilization of the contractor is properly arranged.
• To check and finalize that the work scope and requirement for the sub-contractor are well defined.
• Check and manage the labour/contractors perform align with method of statements and safety.
• To enforce that the procurement procedures are followed when site order material like Concrete, Sand, Gravel, Crushing Stone are ordered by project staff.
• To assign engineers / staff according to the project schedule, check the works are progressing according to it.
• To approve the payment bill for each contractor by judging the completion percentage
• To follow up the construction schedule and check if there are any delay in the progress, to check and follow up the catch-up arrangement if there will be a delay
• To Attend client / main contractor / other contractor progress & coordination meetings as needed
• If it is necessary to take the decision/instruction from coordination meeting as the variation work, to get the client’s approval signature before starting the work and to inform to Office in timely manner
• To check and enforce that the whole project team is following the required documentation work
• To control the project cost by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records with the help of Project Engineer
• To control the Overtime work and to permit only if it is necessary to avoid misuse of resources.
• To source out the qualified sub-contractors, and to choose to employ them in coordination with Office team
