Job Description

ü  Provides legal opinions/reviews and drafting contracts for the entire companies, departments, section and channels of Fortune International Limited.

ü  Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, risk management strategies, and regulatory requirements.

ü  Maintain and regularly update a repository of standard contract templates reflecting best practices and legal developments upon on require.

ü  Support business growth through providing compliance policies, and strategic and operational legal guidance to Board Members and as well as to Head of Departments.

ü  Prepare, review and manage legal documentation related to corporate governance, compliance, for operational matters.

ü  Develop and standardize legal documents such as contracts, amendments, renewals, and termination to streamline processes and ensure consistency.

ü  Collaborate with the Sourcing Department to provide legal support during negotiations with Local and/or international vendors.

ü  Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising to company on necessary actions to maintain compliance.

ü  Manage legal operating budgets and costs, including external legal fees, to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable.

ü  Lead the management of key litigations/arbitrations and interactions with external legal counsels to ensure company interests are well protected.

ü  Conduct training sessions for employees on relevant legal issues, compliance requirements, and company policies.

ü  Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Finance and Operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to legal and regulatory issues.

ü  Nurturing the collaborative and compliance culture in the organization, managing, leading, motivating, monitoring the team are important facts of the corporate management role.
