Job Description

·       Review all structure design documentation prepared and ensure that it is correct to a high degree of accuracy, suitable for construction and in accordance with all relevant standards.

·       Attending regular design coordination meetings with consultants, internal meeting with contractors at which all new drawings, shop drawings, RFA/RFLs are coordinated & reviewed.

·       Assisting the project team in all design issues as and when required and lead a team of design engineers.

·       Coordinate with foreign and local consultants for all design matters.

·       Coordinate with Contractors and in-house design team to solve the routine site problems.

·       Negotiate and trace the Local Authorities ‘approval status on all design matters.

·       Monitor the design development status and ensure can cope with the construction progress at site.

·       Carry out design for permanent works/temporary works according to MNBC for submission to YCDC/HPBC.

·       Possess expert knowledge on Structural software such as ETABS and SAFE for checking consultant’s works.

·       Prefer to have Senior Engineer (Structure) license recognized by local building authority.
