Job Description
Curriculum Development and Implementation
v Lead the design and implementation of a balanced, engaging, and inclusive primary Myanmar curriculum that meets the standards set by the Myanmar Ministry of Education.
v Evaluate and adapt the curriculum regularly, incorporating new resources, teaching methods, and assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
v Ensure alignment between curriculum objectives, classroom activities, and assessment practices.
v Collaborate with senior leadership to set curriculum priorities, evaluate program effectiveness, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the school’s educational goals.
Teaching and Learning
v Support Myanmar teaching staff in effective lesson planning, delivery, and differentiation to foster high levels of student engagement and achievement.
v Model excellent teaching practices and mentor Myanmar teachers to help them refine their skills and confidence in the classroom.
v Plan and facilitate professional development sessions for primary Myanmar teaching staff to enhance skills, introduce new teaching methodologies, and foster a collaborative learning environment.
v Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging Myanmar teachers to share best practices and learn from one another.
Assessment and Data Analysis
v Develop and oversee assessment strategies that are aligned with the Myanmar curriculum goals and allow for accurate measurement of student progress.
v Analyze student performance data to identify trends, assess curriculum effectiveness, and make data- driven decisions to improve instructional practices.
v Guide Myanmar teachers in using data to differentiate instruction and target areas for student improvement.
