Job Description
· Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all construction activities related to refinery and infrastructure development, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
· Monitor and control construction progress, quality, safety, and cost, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet project milestones.
· Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and coordination across all stakeholders
· Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety protocols, legal regulations, and industry standards.
· Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards in construction work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and engineering standards
· Oversee refinery start-up activities, including commissioning, testing, and initial operations, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to operational phases.
· Manage the construction of supporting infrastructure such as utilities, access roads, storage tanks, and other facilities essential for refinery operation.
· Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, delays, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management.
· Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and project management teams, as well as with clients and regulatory authorities.
Job Requirements
· Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Construction Management.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery construction, with significant involvement in refinery startup and infrastructure projects.
· Strong knowledge of refinery process facilities, infrastructure, and construction best practices.
· Proven experience managing large-scale industrial or refinery construction projects from start to finish.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
· Deep understanding of safety standards, quality assurance processes, and environmental regulations.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
· Ability to identify issues proactively and implement effective solutions.
