Job Description

A.Production & Operations Management

·       To Plan, organize, and supervise all lubricant blending, filling, and packaging operations.

·       Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

·       Optimize blending efficiency, batch quality, stock usage, and manpower allocation.

·       Ensure proper handling of base oils, additives, and finished products.

 

B. Quality Control & Assurance

·       Ensure all products meet company specifications and international standards (API, SAE, ISO).

·       Work closely with QC/QA teams to maintain product consistency and reduce batch failures.

·       Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when deviations occur.

 

C. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

·       Enforce compliance with national laws, industry regulations, and company HSE policy.

·       Ensure safety procedures for handling chemicals, flammable materials, and pressurized equipment.

·       Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and risk assessments.

 

D. Maintenance & Engineering

·       Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of blending machines, filling lines, pumps, tanks, boilers, compressors, and utilities.

·       Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

·       Manage spare parts and maintenance budgets.

 

E. Continuous Improvement

·       Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement projects.

·       Drive cost reduction, energy efficiency, and waste minimization programs.

·       Upgrade plant capacity and processes based on business growth.

Job Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

·       Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MPA, Engineering Management).

·       Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years at managerial level

·       Experience in lubricant blending plants or chemical / oil & gas / FMCG plants highly preferred.

Technical Skills

·       Knowledge of lubricant blending processes (batch/automatic blending).

·       Understanding of ISO lubricant standards.

·       Strong knowledge of production planning, QC, maintenance, and safety systems.

·       Familiar with DCS/SCADA, ERP systems, or production software.

·       Strong leadership, communication, and people management.

·       Problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis situations.

·       Strategic planning and decision-making ability
