Job Description
- Responsible for securing new customers and network members, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
- Develop sales strategies and approaches for various manufacturing and service industries.
- Contribute and lead information, ideas, and research to develop sales strategies on the Freight Market especially over to customs clearance, transportation, and cross-border services.
- Researching and analyzing the market and competitors.
- Proactively take initiatives to improve sales performance.
- Must be able to develop strong business relationships with potential and existing clients. Follow up on quotations as needed and communicate the feedback concerning being able to source the competitive rate to support all business opportunities. Problem-solving and setting proper guidelines.
- Focus on carriers, feeders, NOVCC, and airlines for all freight kinds of pricing and good relationships on the freight market.
- Join sales calls and arrange business development meetings with prospective clients. Participate in team collaboration and support a team member if needed.
- Check and follow up on the invoice process and ERP system implementation. Participate in weekly meetings and training.
- Reporting the daily jobs execution plan, weekly report, and monthly report to the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Any graduate and other related qualifications in the Logistics and Supply Chain Sector. Freight Forwarding experience & Cross border Logistics experience are "must". Carrier relationship is a "must".
- Customer-centric mindset is required.
- Good command of English 4 skills and more preference in Chinese language.
- Good skill of computer.
- Collaboration, and negotiation skills internally & externally.
- Must be a Team player.
- Able to work under pressure in any challenging situations.
